This Minecraft mod gives users the possibility to visit a new tropical-themed biome. Additionally, there are NPC villages, ores, blocks and various fishing equipment.
Tropicraft
Tropicraft is a modification for Minecraft that adds a new dimension, especially suited for those who love the beach. Generally speaking, it brings a wide array of tropical items, a correspondingly themed realm, villages, trading, treasure, equipment and fishing to your world.
General notes
The dimension resembles a tropical biome filled with new mobs, trees and plants. Most vanilla ores cannot be found in the tropical realm, however there are many new resources to mine. There are even new kinds of villagers, which can trade with you for useful items. If you want to have relationships with NPCs, you may use another mod called Minecraft Comes Alive.
Tropical realm
Entering a new area is achieved by drinking a Pina Colada while sitting on any chair. Pineapples, bamboo chutes and palm trees are required for this, and will be available in the standard world. You are able to collect coconuts and break them with a sword to get their chunks. An empty bamboo mug is made of the bamboo chutes combined with the latter. All ingredients brought together will result in a Pina Colada.
Soundtrack
It is necessary to note that the mod includes new music discs as well, the three of which were written by an electronic musician known as Punchface. He composed Buried Treasures, Low Tide and Surf. These tracks are featured on their album, Tropitunes, which is available for download from Bandcamp.
