Transposer is a simple-to-use Windows program which enables you to raise or lower the pitch of any audio track without making changes to the tempo. It is necessary to note that the tool supports only the MP3 and WMA. Thanks to straightforward operation, the full potential of this utility can be accessed even by inexperienced users.
Interface
The graphical user interface of this application is based on a small window and an intuitive layout. In order to load an audio track into the working environment you can use only the in-built file browser, since the drag and drop method is not supported. Moreover, it is not possible to process multiple items at the same time.
Transpose
After you have imported the desired track you can transpose the semitones by writing new values or by pressing two arrow-like buttons. You also have the ability to listen to the new song in the in-built audio player. If you want to edit the composition on a professional level, you may use such specialized software called WavePad.
Performance
The program needs a moderate amount of CPU and system memory and has a good response time. No error dialogs have been displayed during the testing stage and Transposer did not freeze or crash.
