Toon Boom Studio is a program for Windows that gives you the ability to create impressive and eye-catching animations for videos, websites, television, games, mobile devices, e-learning apps and more.

Main capabilities

The software allows you to import media such as templates, movies and photographs in PSD, SWF, JPEG, TGA and GIF format. The main goal of the tool is to make the animation on your computer as natural as drawing with pen on paper.

In addition, you can add sound to your project. The list of supported extensions include WAV, AIFF and MP3. In order to increase the realism of the scene, you are able to use a lip sync analyzer to ensure your characters speak at the correct time.

Advanced options

What is more, there are zoom in and out functions, the possibility to create 3D space and scale and rotate your creations in accordance with your requirements. Thanks to the intuitive controls, you do not need to learn how to animate in Flash to use it. However, if you have the required skills and knowledge, you may use another application called Sothink SWF Quicker. Once you finish working on your project, you may export it in SWF, QuickTime, DV Stream and AVI.
