TI Connect is an advanced connectivity software that aims to facilitate the data transfer between a graphing calculator and a computer. The package includes various tools such as a device explorer, backup and restore options, as well as a data editor and a screen capturing utility.

The application was developed to be used specifically with calculators manufactured by Texas Instruments. Due to that fact, it supports most popular TI devices like TI-73 Explorer, Voyage 200 and CBL 2. Using this tool, you can quickly download apps or drag and drop various data from the handheld device to the computer.

Components

When the handset is connected to the computer and turned on, the explorer component allows you to view and browse its contents in a structured manner. Consequently, you are able to create new folders and delete existing ones, as well as copy data from and to the PC. Moreover, you may use the backup and restore feature to create safe copies of the RAM, archives and apps stored on the handheld device.

The built-in screen capturing function helps you to take snapshots of graphs and use them in presentations or tests. It supports a wide range of graphic file types, as well as proprietary formats of TI calculators.
