ThreatFire is a Windows security application that helps users prevent external attacks and find infected files on the hard drive. It is possible to whitelist individual software products and block suspicious processes as well. Please note that ThreatFire is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.

Virus detection

The main window contains information about the current security status of the computer. You can start a system scan by clicking the corresponding button. There is an option to exclude specific logical volumes, folders or files from the operation to reduce the overall processing time.

Like in Avira Free Antivirus, users are able to automatically place suspicious files into a secure quarantine zone. It is possible to restore mistakenly flagged items or completely wipe infected packages.

Real time protection

This utility constantly monitors all active processes to ensure that you stay protected during web browsing. ThreatFire operates discreetly in the background, consuming minimal system resources. Additionally, there are instruments for configuring custom security rules to exclude certain domains, apps or files from the scan.
