The Word Bible is a Windows utility that allows users to read and study the Bible. It contains all scripture texts in several popular translations. There are tools for searching through the library to find specific chapters.

Main capabilities

The main window contains a section with the Bible text, dictionary and the table of contents for quick navigation. You can customize the interface to include panels with personal notes, commentaries from various authors and other information. Moreover, it is possible to display ancient regional maps.

Similar to PC Study Bible, instruments for bookmarking and printing individual chapters are provided. Users are able to download additional religious texts, spelling dictionaries for various languages and multiple Bible translations as well.

Viewing options

You can change default colors for all text blocks and URL links. The background image is adjustable. There are tools for replacing the original font as well. An option to add cross references to the main text is available. This functionality is helpful for quickly looking up words and phrases in other related books.
