testo ComSoft Basic
testo ComSoft Basic is a program for Windows designed to save, retrieve, and analyze individual readings and measurement series. Its primary function revolves around graphically presenting this information. Readings are transmitted to the computer from data loggers via an interface.
Initial setup
The Basic edition of the tool delivers all standard features found in logger solutions. There is support for Testo devices from the instrument series 174, 175, and 176. It is compatible with different Microsoft OS versions, including Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10.
After launching the utility, you are greeted with a start screen. Here you can find a menu bar on the left, containing status information, and a quick access panel equipped with a preview section. Please note that if no instrument is linked, you will be redirected to the connection page.
Measurements and device configuration
The intuitive graphical interface of the software provides step by step guidance through each process, ensuring ease of use. It features graphic curves that offer a clear presentation of the measurement values. To analyze large data sets, you may try a program called Logger Pro.
The application enables configuration of loggers, such as adjustment of start and stop criteria, measurement intervals, storage rates, and limit values. There are convenient export functions which facilitate data processing in Microsoft Excel format or generating PDFs for sharing with other users.
