TestMem5 portable program for Windows intended to help you test random-access memory. Basically, you can check all of your RAM modules and display detailed information about the status of your DDR sticks. It is necessary to mention that the application does not require installation, and thus may be launched right after unpacking the downloaded archive.

General notes

The software allows you to analyze the performance of computer memory, detect defective cells and errors in its functioning. These features are useful when buying a new, used PC or laptop, if you have suspicions that RAM components are the cause of crashes and other issues during the operating system boot up sequence. Besides locating damaged cells, the tool is capable of conducting a memory stress test to evaluate its stability.

View information

In the main window, you can see the model of your central processor, as well as the number of physical and engaged cores, the nominal clock frequency of the CPU, and the set of supported SSE instructions. On the right hand side you are able to view the total and currently utilized amount of RAM. Alternatively, you may try other utilities such as PerformanceTest or Mz Ram Booster.
