This tool enables users to transfer files by adding them to a queue. Additionally, they can apply specific conditions and set automatic post-task actions.
Teracopy
Teracopy is a lightweight program for Windows that was designed for copying and moving files from one location to another using fast and intuitive actions. The highlight of this application is that it allows you to add multiple items operations to a queue and execute them sequentially without your intervention. It is worth noting that any corrupt entries will be skipped without any popup messages or other interruptions.
Interface layout
The primary panel is quite small and displays only a few options to work with, by default. However, it is possible to extend it to access and configure additional settings, as well as investigate file properties such as the source folder, size and status.
Copy and transfer
The software enables you to copy or transfer operations by dragging and dropping them into the main window while navigating hard drive directories. If they exist in the destination folder, the utility is capable of overwriting all of them, older ones only, skip or rename them as well as prompt you for action.
Please note, filenames may be limited to 255 characters, while ongoing tasks can be paused to temporarily allocate system resources to another application. If you want to control the speed of transfers, you may use alternative tools such as SuperCopier.
Verify and set post-task actions
What is more, you are able to delete files from the hard drive or send them to the Recycle Bin. It is also possible to compare items in the source location using their CRC values and specify automatic post-task actions, such as turn off PC, eject drive or program exit.
