TEdit is an open source Terraria editor program for Windows with Paint-like functionality. It is capable of editing files in many ways, ranging from basic terrain work to changing the world status.

Overview

TEdit is an application that can be installed on computers running Windows operating systems. It utilizes an intuitive interface which allows users to create and modify original Terraria maps. The open architecture has been designed to provide anyone with the ability to use this tool, even if they are not technically savvy.

Please note, that you have to have at least one instance of the game deployed on your PC in order for the utility to access your current worlds. However, it is also possible to use maps downloaded from the Internet.

Functionality

The program allows you to edit or create maps or biomes as if drawing in an application such as Paint XP. The process is very intuitive. There is a checkered background upon which you can color, draw and add various objects.

It is worth mentioning that the interface consists of only one window. This means that all instruments like selection tools, erasers and color pickers are always available to you. In addition, there are a few drop-down lists for accessing layer and plugin options.
