SWiSHmax is a Windows software for designing Flash content that can be integrated into a webpage or opened in Macromedia Shockwave Player. There are templates for movies, banners, image galleries, audio players and full websites. You are able to customize various text parameters and import background images.

First steps

The program contains multiple sample projects oriented toward both beginners and experienced designers. Users can utilize these examples to construct personal Flash modules or begin a new layout from scratch.

It is possible to insert scenes and buttons into the workspace. Moreover, there are instruments for importing audio files, video clips, images and text inscriptions into the project. Animation effects like fade, zoom, blur and slide are provided.

Scripts

You can write and execute various automated actions. The list of available statements, conditions, switches, loops, blocks and exceptions is located in the Insert menu. Tools for defining functions and classes are included as well. Resulting scripts can be tested and debugged before execution.

Preferences

The Settings menu lets users integrate additional templates, visual effects and filters into the main interface. Additionally, it is possible to change the default Flash player.
