StarDew Valley ModManager is a Windows tool for configuring Stardew Valley extensions. You are able to backup existing mods before installing new ones and restore previously saved copies in case of compatibility issues.

Mod management

This software supports the official Stardew Valley Modding API, which means that it can be used with almost any modification. After starting the application users are prompted to specify the path to the main game directory. It is possible to work with both Steam and GoG versions of Stardew Valley.

You can sort the list of mods by name, author or installation date. Moreover, there is an option to search for specific items by keywords or tags. Instruments for updating existing modifications and erasing unwanted plugins are provided as well.

Please note that StarDew Valley ModManager is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer.

Technical details

StarDew Valley ModManager is built using C# and WPF. It utilizes Newtonsoft.Json library for parsing JSON files and the RestSharp module for communicating with the Nexus Mods API. This allows users to install new mods directly from various unofficial sources.
