SoundBlaster is a Windows component that is necessary for the correct functioning of sound cards from Creative Technology. There are tools for enhancing the output audio quality and applying a wide range of effects. Like in MP3 Recorder Studio, users are able to capture the sound from a microphone or musical instrument.

Setup

After downloading the executable file you can run it to begin the installation process. The next step is to select the correct device and click Next to finish driver integration. A reboot is required for applying the changes and activating all hardware features.

Please note that SoundBlaster is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. It is compatible only with Windows 3.1.

Audio parameters

There is a high quality processing engine for making music, movies and games sound more immersive and engaging. Users can adjust the speaker configuration and enable the surround sound technology.

Included advanced algorithms help you enhance the quality of compressed audio tracks. Additionally, some Sound Blaster models have built in amplifiers for powering high end headphones and speakers.
