Sound Organizer is a Windows application for working with audio tracks captured by Sony IC recorders. It is possible to convert input files to the Audio CD format and burn them to an optical disc. The program is a successor of Sony Digital Voice Editor.

Main capabilities

This utility allows you to import audio tracks from Sony voice recorders or microSD cards. Downloaded files can be opened in the included media player. It is possible to edit the audio by trimming and erasing individual fragments. Additional playback functions include digital pitch control, voice enhancement and noise removal.

Users are able to convert tracks to several popular file formats. Moreover, there are instruments for transferring data to the recorder via USB connection.

Transcription

You can manually transcribe audio to the text form by typing the words in the input window. Tools for automatically inserting track marks at specified intervals and adjusting the playback speed are available.

An option to attach files to an email message is provided. This functionality is helpful for quickly sharing recordings with other people.
