Sothink Movie DVD Maker is a Windows utility that allows you to process video clips before recording them to an optical media. The resulting bit rate and aspect ratio can be manually configured. There is support for AVI, WMV, MPEG, MP4, 3GP and many other file types.

Adding new clips

After starting the program users can import video files by dragging and dropping them into the main window. There is information about the name, image dimensions and duration for every item in the list. By hovering over the video with the mouse cursor users are able to view technical details about audio and video codecs as well as the filesize. The thumbnail size can be tuned for easier navigation.

Conversion settings

There are options for changing the target disc size. Both PAL and NTSC television systems are supported. You are able to choose between various zoom modes like pan and scan, letterbox and stretch.

The DVD menu options include multiple title font attributes and a custom background image. Moreover, users can choose one of the provided design templates.

It is possible to burn the resulting project to a DVD disc using Nero or another similar application.
