SOPAS ET is a Windows software oriented toward professional engineers. It contains instruments for working with LIDARs, gas analyzers, luminescence sensors and other types of industrial measurement devices from the SICK company.

Connection

Compatible sensors are detected automatically and can be configured in the main window. Alternatively, it is possible to manually install the corresponding drivers by selecting the device from the list of supported hardware.

Like in BITZER, you are able to edit the sensitivity level of any sensor to better fit project requirements. There is a modern terminal window for interacting with remote devices via the command line interface.

Users can group several sensors that belong to the same project together for easier management. This functionality is helpful for working with large machinery that may contain hundreds of measurement devices.

Sensor parameters

It is necessary to enter the correct credentials for establishing a connection with new hardware. You are able to save the password to speed up future login attempts.

Every sensor has a variety of customizable options like the frequency, resolution, sensitivity, etc. Users can manually tune the properties of individual devices to resolve various technical issues and prevent false positive reactions.
