Sony FS700 Firmware is a Windows utility for integrating a new firmware version into digital camcorders. Please note that this program is compatible only with the Sony NEX FS700R and FS700RH models. You can download Canon EOS 70D for working with Canon devices.

Update process

After starting the program users are instructed to turn on the camera and connect it to the computer via USB cable. The current firmware version will be displayed in the main window.

You can click the Next button to begin preparing the device for the update. It is necessary to reset the camcorder to factory settings to proceed. Finally, the software will install the latest firmware and automatically reboot the camera. The progress bar at the bottom of the interface lets you monitor the operation.

Improvements

This update provides several bug fixes and new features. For example, it allows users to manually operate the iris ring and change the direction of zoom ring rotation.

There are instruments for automatically correcting the distortion of E mount lenses. Additionally, multiple internal improvements to enhance overall device stability are included.
