SoMove is a Windows application that lets users set up, test and maintain motor control devices from Schneider Electric. It is possible to connect the hardware via the USB/RJ-45 link, Ethernet port, Wi-Fi network or Bluetooth.

Brief overview

This utility supports several motor control appliances such as:

Altivar 12 process drives;
Altistart 22 soft starters;
TeSys U controllers;
TeSys motor management system;
Lexium 32 servo drives;
and other Schneider Electric hardware.

You are able to prepare and configure the devices as well as perform start-up and testing operations. There are additional instruments for hardware maintenance.

This tool is compatible with the Multi-Loader software. With its help users can save a significant amount of time when loading, duplicating or editing configuration files.

Available functions

It is possible to transfer data to motor control devices. Instruments for monitoring the oscilloscope parameters are available. Moreover, there are advanced communication options. The control panel user interface allows you to manage all internal hardware settings. There is a program for creating new motor control menus and panels called Vijeo Designer Basic.

The list of all detected faults and errors can be displayed. This functionality is helpful for troubleshooting any technical issues.
