Softros LAN Messenger is a Windows tool that allows users to send and receive text messages with other computers connected to the local network. It does not require a server to run and is very easy to set up. Please note that the free trial version of Softros LAN Messenger will stop functioning 30 days after installation.

Main capabilities

The program lets you communicate with individual users or create chat groups with multiple participants. It is possible to exchange photos, video clips, text documents and other types of files as well. Additionally, there is support for offline messaging.

Similar to Skype, instruments for sharing the screen contents are provided. This is helpful for troubleshooting technical issues and organizing online presentations.

Users can view detailed message history. There is an option to delete specific chats to protect confidential information.
