SOAP Toolkit is a Windows program that lets you develop the network infrastructure for integrating services into the client and server applications.

Brief description

This utility is based on the Simple Object Access Protocol. SOAP is a messaging environment that does not require synchronous execution or request-response interaction. The protocol defines a formatting and processing mechanism and allows loose coupling between senders and receivers. Messages can have multiple parts addressed to different users.

The toolkit greatly simplifies developing and consuming web services. There is extensive documentation with detailed descriptions of every function available online.

It is worth mentioning that SOAP Toolkit is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. It was replaced with Microsoft NET Framework.

Supported functions

There are several tools available such as the simple, complex and multidimensional arrays. The included Generic Custom Type Mapper helps to streamline application development.

The software allows users to perform RPC-encoded and document-literal Web Services Description Language (WSDL) operations. Attachments can be sent along with the SOAP messages.
