Snaptube is a Windows program for downloading video files from the official YouTube server. There are tools for browsing the content collection and choosing the resulting quality. Please note that the application is supported by advertisements. Users can remove distracting pop ups by purchasing a premium license.

Search

It is possible to find any video on YouTube by entering keywords into the corresponding input field at the top of the interface. After locating the required item you can click on the thumbnail to preview the content.

The embedded media player allows users to tune the volume and pause the playback. Moreover, there are buttons for enabling full screen mode and adjusting the aspect ratio. An option to cast the stream to another device is included as well.

Downloading process

You can extract the audio track from the clip. The output bitrate is customizable. Alternatively, instruments for downloading the full copy of the video to the hard drive are provided. Available resolution options are 360p, 720p, 1080p, 1440p and 4K. Supported formats include MP3, MP4 and WEBM.

Similar to MiniTool uTube, users are able to detect text subtitles in the source video and insert captions into the resulting clip.
