Smart Popup Blocker is a Windows program that helps users to speed up browsing by blocking pop-up ads. The utility includes Cookie Manager for deleting undesired temporary files left over from surfing the internet.

Pop-up blocking function

Ads can be a real problem for anybody browsing the web. Sometimes pop-up windows completely block the content of a page and can be a source of frustration. In that case users can try to disable these annoying windows with Smart Popup Blocker.

This tool is intended to be used with an obsolete web browser Microsoft Internet Explorer. All traffic is intelligently analyzed and pop-up windows are blocked.

The app appears in the system tray near the clock. Clicking the icon or holding Ctrl will temporarily deactivate the utility.

The options menu lets users choose sound that will be played when the window is blocked.

Other capabilities

You can set up the program to automatically clean all cookie files upon exiting the browser. Moreover, you are able to create and edit the list of websites you trust. Pop-up windows from these sites will be allowed.

There is a tick box to enable Home page protection that prohibits malicious applications from changing the starting page without your permission.
