SmadAV is a Windows software for preventing external attacks on the system. It contains instruments for detecting and erasing suspicious items. Additionally, users can repair broken registry records.

Scan parameters

The utility lets you select logical partitions or specific directories to analyze. Scan results are displayed in the main window in real time. All detected viruses are isolated in a special quarantine sector to prevent the infection from spreading.

It is possible to automatically analyze USB drives immediately after they are connected to the computer. Users can create an exception list to skip certain files and locations during the scan.

Please note that the free version of SmadAV contains limited functionality. A paid license is required for unlocking advanced protection capabilities.

Additional instruments

Similar to Comodo Internet Security, the application provides options for detecting malicious items in the system memory. Moreover, you can manage the startup menu to prevent unwanted processes from starting along with the OS.
