SlimDrivers is a cloud-based program for Windows that allows you to scan your computer in real-time to identify outdated drivers that need to be updated. It is also possible to select which item you want to install.

Purpose

Constantly monitoring the releases of new versions of all drivers installed in the system is not an easy task. Fortunately there are special applications designed to automatically find and install updates for these components like SlimDrivers.

Operation

After launch, you are greeted with a wizard-like interface layout with all tabs neatly organized in the main window. With a couple clicks you can start updating all the necessary drivers. The utility will automatically detect which entries are not up to date and retrieve them automatically from the cloud.

This process is quite straightforward. You will only need to wait for a few minutes while the analysis takes place. It is also necessary to mention that the program sends you a notification when a new version is released.

Additional notes

Last but not least, you are able to create backup copies of drivers and system restore points as well as remove them from the computer by overwriting the corresponding registry keys. Alternatively, you may use similar tools such as Driver Reviver.
