Simple File Encryptor is a Windows solution for protecting sensitive information stored on the desktop. There is support for AES, which is a strong and widely trusted encryption algorithm used by governments, banks and cybersecurity professionals around the world.

How it works

Similar to CloudShield EncryptSync, you can encrypt target files or folders with a personal password. An option to include subdirectories is provided. It is possible to compress the resulting package to save valuable storage space. Additionally, original items may be automatically deleted upon finishing the operation.

There are instruments for protecting important text snippets from malicious actors. Users are able to send encrypted information to the recipient without worrying about data interception. Please note that a correct keyphrase is necessary for accessing the source text.

Parameters

A checkbox to integrate the software into the Windows context menu is available. Moreover, you may run the tool on PC startup and automatically minimize the main panel to the system tray. There are tools to toggle sound effects as well.
