SimaPro is a Windows utility for performing a life cycle assessment of any product. There are instruments for recording all potential emissions and resource consumption estimates. You can automatically process and visualize the results.

Main purpose

This application is intended for evaluating the impact a commercial product or service has on the environment throughout its entire life cycle. Users can assess overall raw material consumption. Moreover, it is possible to estimate the emissions of hazardous substances such as CO2, SO2, phosphates, pesticides and heavy metals. Radioactive material evaluation instruments are available as well.

How it works

The first step is to choose technical processes and raw resources involved in your project. There is a large selection of materials and manufacturing scenarios. The product development, distribution, usage and recycling stages are planned separately. It is possible to import information from MySQL databases.

Impact assessment

After specifying all project parameters users can automatically perform required calculations and create a detailed report. It contains emission projections and raw material depletion rates.
