Sierra Wireless Watcher is a Windows program for working with wireless modems made by Sierra. Additionally, users are able to send and receive SMS messages, manage the list of contacts and configure various internal device parameters.

Interface

The main window contains a section with the current connection status and other details. There is a toolbar for accessing different settings as well. Additionally, you can customize the visual appearance of the interface according to personal preferences.

Please note that Sierra Wireless Watcher is obsolete and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.

Connection

Supported types of wireless networks include 3G, 4G, LTE and WiFi. Users are able to automatically detect and configure the modem. Flexible network parameters like the IP address, subnet mask and DNS servers are provided. Similar to PANTECH PC USB Modem Software, there are instruments for sending and receiving SMS messages from the desktop.

You can keep track of data usage, connection speed, session duration and cost in real time. An option to enable notifications in case of reaching a low battery level or hitting a traffic limit is included as well.
