Schemaplic is a Windows software for creating and testing circuit boards. There is a massive collection of electrical components such as diodes, resistors and capacitors. You can customize physical properties of any element to better fit the design. It is important to note that Schemaplic is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.

Circuit creation

With the help of this program users are able to design circuit boards with multiple elements. It is possible to drag and drop electrical components from the included collection into the workspace. There are instruments for configuring wired connections between individual elements.

You can customize the board size in the corresponding menu. Moreover, an option to design layouts with multiple layers is provided.

Simulation

After finishing the design users are able to test its performance and stability by emulating the electrical current. Results are displayed in real time. The resistance and voltage values of separate components can be adjusted on the fly to improve the layout.

You can export the results to PDF and DXF file formats for further editing in AutoCAD or another similar engineering application.
