ScanSoft RealSpeak is a Windows tool for converting text to speech. It utilizes a parametric approach to deliver high quality synthetic voice recordings. Please note that ScanSoft RealSpeak is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.

Conversion parameters

You can select one of the predefined male or female voices. It is possible to manually type in the required text or paste it from an external document. Similar to TextAloud, the volume and speed of the output recording are adjustable.

The Play button begins the conversion process. Users are able to listen to the audio output in real time.
