ScanSoft PDF Create is a Windows program for converting any data into the Adobe PDF file format. Moreover, you can modify existing PDF documents by adding annotations, bookmarks, watermarks, stamps and digital signatures.

PDF creation

There are tools for generating multiple documents from different sources in one operation. Users are able to combine various file types like DOC, XLS and JPG into one multimedia package.

You can create PDF documents that contain several other PDFs within a single file. This is useful for organizing and sharing related items such as invoices, receipts or contracts. It is possible to add comments and descriptions to each file in the package.

Flexible security instruments allow users to restrict the access to a PDF document as well as configure individual permissions to print, copy, edit and comment.

Please note that ScanSoft PDF Create is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.

Profiles

Like in Nuance Power PDF Standard, several presets that determine the quality and size of the output document are provided. For example, users can choose a more detailed option for printing and lower the resolution for web publishing.

Image extraction

Instruments for saving images embedded in a PDF package to the hard drive as separate files are included. You can choose the resulting format.
