RockXP is a Windows XP program for recovering missing license keys and serial numbers for several Microsoft applications. It is possible to create a backup of activation files to avoid issues during Windows reinstallation.

Accessing keys

After agreeing with the license agreement terms you can switch to the Windows Key tab for retrieving necessary data. There is a drop-down menu with the list of all compatible applications. The product key and serial number can be verified with the help of the corresponding button. Moreover, you are able to change the values of both parameters.

Recovering passwords

This section contains tools for displaying all users and passwords in the system. It is useful for restoring old Windows XP accounts. However, the data is presented in the encrypted form and requires further processing for retrieving the credentials. Users can try Active Password Changer in case this utility did not help to recover the information.

There are instruments for viewing network passwords for every active user. This functionality is helpful for restoring access to the internet provider.

Please note that RockXP is intended only for Windows XP. It cannot be opened in newer operating systems.
