Road Estimator

Road Estimator is a professional Windows software for visualizing road cross-sections and planning intersections. Moreover, users can calculate the exact quantities of earthwork, pavement, drainage and other construction components necessary for executing the job.

Brief overview

There are tools for creating detailed road designs with multiple elements such as carriageways, shoulders, medians, verges, slopes, ditches, drains and retaining walls. You are able to define custom alignment rules, change the elevation level and widen the road. It is possible to import data from Excel, AutoCAD, Google Earth or another third-party application.

Calculations

This program allows users to estimate the quantities of various resources and manpower necessary for the project. Options for defining unit rates, coefficients and wastages for each item are provided.

You are able to compare two projects and figure out the most economical or fast approach. Resulting road layouts can be saved as XLS, DWG or PDF files for further processing in other graphics editing applications.
