RhinoEmboss is a Windows software for integrating new capabilities into the Rhino 3D graphics editing software. Users can import photos and curves to design complex three-dimensional objects such as furniture, road signs, jewelry, trophies, etc.

Main functionality

After installing the plugin you can access it from the main program. There are four modules included in the add-on: emboss, engrave, sculpture and texture. It is possible to add, edit, delete, reorder and group specific operations. A real-time preview section is included as well.

Users are able to import and export custom presets or select one of the provided options. Every step of the process can be fully customized to better fit the project.

Operations

The emboss module allows you to create a relief from curves, images or geometric objects. Tools for adjusting the height, angle, offset, smoothness and resolution of a resulting model are available. Different modes such as normal, inverted or absolute are intended for controlling the direction and intensity of the relief.

There are instruments for converting pictures to engravings and applying them to 3D surfaces. Moreover, users can design unique textures to personalize any object.
