ReSound Smart Fit is a special program for Windows intended to help qualified healthcare professionals configure hearing aids according to the needs of the specific user. Before installing the software solution, it is necessary to ensure that you have required hardware and programming interfaces. If you opt for wired connection, you need to have an adapter cable or flex strip to link to the hearing aids.

Connect hearing aids

In order to view all of the product families found in both ReSound Smart Fit and Aventa modules, you may use the Smart Launcher. It automatically opens the fitting component that supports the connected or simulated hearing aids. If you want to import data from Omron monitors, you may use Omron Health Management Software.

The Aid Style and Other tabs enable you to filter entries based on their type or available features. For example, the Based on Audiogram option displays only products with fitting ranges that suit your patient’s individual audiogram. To simulate the operation of hearing aids, you need to select the device of the relevant ear.

Patient screen

In the main interface there is a special tab with a red ribbon on top, called Patient. By visiting this screen, you are able to optimize gain prescription by selecting the person’s experience level with hearing aids based on the amplification history. It is also possible to demonstrate how the device can help the patient via Audiogram Overlays on the Hearing Loss Simulator screen.
