This scientific software is designed to control and analyze Raman spectroscopy data. It is used by researchers in various fields like chemistry and biology.
Renishaw WIRE
Renishaw WIRE is a specialized Windows program for acquiring, processing and analyzing scientific information. There is support for various models of Renishaw Raman spectroscopes. Users can generate detailed project reports. It is worth noting that Renishaw WIRE is distributed on a commercial basis. There is no free trial version.
Data acquisition
You are able to manually control the laser power, exposure time and other scanning parameters. Instruments for peak picking, baseline subtraction, data fitting and background noise removal are provided.
Spectral analysis
There is a library of scientific databases for identifying unknown materials. Additionally, users can generate Raman images. This is helpful for mapping the distribution of different elements in a sample or for detecting specific features.
Other applications for working with spectral information such as SpinWorks are available for download.
Reports
It is possible to export Raman data to a separate file. You are able to include all measured spectra, generated pictures and analysis results into the final report. The output page format is customizable.
