Remo Recover is a Windows utility for restoring erased data from hard drives. It is possible to perform deep analysis for locating corrupted items and attempting to recover them. There is support for FAT32, NTFS, Ext3 and other popular file systems.

Scan process

After starting the program it will automatically detect all connected storage devices. There is information about the type, capacity and label for every hard drive, SD card and USB stick. A button for refreshing the list is available. You can choose a custom directory for restoring files from a specific location.

The next step is to begin analyzing the selected hard drive or folder and detecting missing files. The quick scan is performed first for finding recently erased data. If this operation fails to recover required items, users can start a deep analysis for restoring information from damaged sectors. There is a button for interrupting the scan in case all necessary files are detected.

Recovery

Analysis results are displayed in the main window. Similar to PC Inspector File Recovery, it is possible to select specific items or mark every located file for restoration. Finally, you can specify the target directory for recovered data and start the process. This operation may take up to several hours depending on the amount of corrupted files and hardware condition.

Please note that Remo Recover is a paid software. The free trial version does not allow users to restore detected items.
