This software solution was designed to give users the ability to manipulate RedNet devices. In addition, they can control the process via the MIDI controller.
RedNet Control
RedNet Control is a special program for Windows developed by Focusrite to help you control and configure RedNet interfaces across the network. Please note, it works only with specific hardware components.
Monitor devices
It features a graphical representation of each connected device, giving critical feedback, such as signal metering, clock and power supply status, as well as primary and secondary network connection state. Moreover, the software is customizable which enables several users who share the same network to have completely different views.
Remote and MIDI control
Another function of this utility is to provide remote controls for each device, such as clock source selection, sample rate converter configuration and reference level setup. When it comes to microphone preamps, you can adjust such functions as gain, input impedance, phantom power, high-pass filter, pad, gain compensation and others.
If you need more hands-on controls, the program features a MIDI bridge, enabling any programmable controller to operate up to sixteen different preamp devices on the network. This allows gain levels to be easily mapped to an encoder.
Save and recall sessions
What is more, the application gives you the ability to switch between different setups. It provides save and recall capabilities for both session and device. This means, you can save and load projects across various machines and platforms. If you want to add videos to your performance, you may use special software like ArKaos GrandVJ.
