ReCycle is a Windows software for music editing. It is possible to adjust the pitch, gain, tempo and other audio attributes. Users can mix multiple tracks into one song.

Included instruments

This program offers you flexible audio control features. There are knobs for the attack and decay length to enhance the sound envelope. Presets like Fake Backwards, Tighten Up, Synth Chopper, etc. are provided.

You are able to configure transient parameters such as the threshold value, release time and gain limits. It is possible to utilize the included templates for chopping the peaks, pressurizing and distorting the audio.

High and low frequencies can be adjusted separately with the help of the provided equalizer. Moreover, there are several presets for automatic bass removal, drum clean-up and volume boosting.

Please note that this utility provides only basic audio editing functionality. There are more powerful solutions like Adobe Soundbooth CS4.

Additional capabilities

The Process menu at the top of the main window contains tools for converting and analyzing audio files. Sample rate and bit depth can be tuned. Normalizing the volume is possible as well.

It is worth mentioning that ReCycle is distributed on a commercial basis. The free demo version does not allow users to save the results.
