Recoverit is a Windows utility for restoring deleted or damaged items. It is possible to enable various filters to quickly find the required files. Users can perform a deep scan operation as well.

Search

After starting the application you are prompted to select the source storage device. Instruments for scanning HDDs, Flash drives and memory cards are provided. Additionally, there is an option to specify a separate directory for search.

The next step is to scan the drive and detect erased files. It may take from several minutes to a few hours depending on the capacity and health of the storage device. A list of restorable items will be displayed in the main window upon finishing the operation. The process can be interrupted or stopped at any moment.

Recovery

Similar to Recover My Files, flexible filters for quickly finding individual files are included. Users are able to limit the search to specific file types or names. The preview section is located at the right side of the interface.

You can sort the list by name, modification date and size. It is possible to select multiple items and click the Restore button to begin the recovery process.
