Ratio Faker is a utility for Windows that allows torrent users to fake their ratio by generating a random upload value. There is a simple and intuitive interface and the program supports a good variety of languages.

How it works

The utility intercepts communication between your client and tracker announcement server. Thus, you can modify your upload value and download files at full speed depending on your network connection. This process is completely undetectable, similar to how your PC would be protected by Touch VPN.

Setup

Installation is required. After launching the program, users will see the listening port number. For the application to run properly, it is recommended to input said value and the standard localhost address in the HTTP proxy settings of the torrent client. Now, the software is ready.

Interface and settings

The interface is clean and simple in use. It is possible to manually change your upload values in the main menu. You can see the announcements being intercepted and modified in the log view tab. The language selection as well as additional settings are available in the preferences. Exclusion of specified trackers is done in the corresponding section.

Extra functions

In the main menu, users can toggle an option that makes the tracker see them only as seeders. Consequently, transfer speed will decrease. They may also choose not to report both their download and upload values. They will be listed as leechers.
