RAGS Player is a powerful program for Windows designed to help users create interactive video games. In addition, it comes with an extensive picture and object library, predefined character attitudes, conversation templates, as well as interactions and more.

The RAGS system is flexible which allows you to develop projects and distribute them to your players. If you ever wanted to quickly create an interactive world, then this is a convenient solution for you. If you want to design a 2D platformer or shooter, you may use another tool called GameMaker.

Main capabilities

Basically, the software package provides two components, namely the RAGS Designer and the RAGS Player. The first is used for customizing the game. You are able to load your picture library, create your object library and begin the development process.

At the core of the application is the Action control. Here, you can create actions that players may perform in the Rags Player, specify what conditions need to be met before the move can be executed successfully and what happens if they are not satisfied.
