QuickPWN is a jailbreaking program for Windows released by the iPhone Dev Team that allows you to unlock different iPhone and iPod Touch models.

Principle of operation

Jailbreaking is a process that gives you the ability to gain root access to Apple devices and unlock the operating system, thus removing any limitations imposed by the developers. This means that you will have access to various third-party extensions and themes unavailable through the App Store via installers such as AltStore. Please note, a jailbroken device is still able to use both the official marketplace and iTunes.

Jailbreaking

First, you need to download the appropriate version of the official iOS firmware from the Apple website. This distribution will be modified by QuickPWN. Next, you can select your device model and navigate to the location of the aforementioned files. After this step, the application will alter its contents and create a modified copy.

In order to apply the jailbreak to your mobile device it is necessary to put it into DFU mode. You can do this by pressing and holding the Power and Home buttons in a particular order while the iPhone is booting up. The step by step instructions are displayed in the main window.
