QSL Maker
QSL Maker is a Windows software for creating unique QSL cards with your call sign, date, address and other parameters. These standard postcards are utilized to confirm two-way radio communication.
About QSL cards
Amateur radio enthusiasts use the specially formatted cards for confirming the reception of distant signals. The name is derived from a standardized Q code that translates as “I am acknowledging receipt”.
The cards are sent through the mail to a person who originated the broadcast. Large stations use QSL for collecting the usage statistics and detecting areas with spotty coverage. Radio enthusiasts usually create a customized personal card.
For receiving various radio signals you can utilize DigiPan or WSJT X.
Design process
There are three samples included in the software to get you started. Alternatively, it is possible to create a blank card and fill it manually.
The first step is to add the username, callsign, address and other personal details. The font, size and color of the letters can be customized. It is possible to place a greeting phrase on the card as well as change the background image. The results can be saved as a QSL file or printed on paper.
