Prep Pal is a Windows utility for properly labeling the food. It allows users to comply with HACCP standards and avoid wasting good produce. Like in Zweckform WinLabel, there are tools for creating multiple identical labels. The program is compatible with specialized Prep Pal printers.

Label creation

You can add custom logos to the layout as well as change the font size and color. Moreover, additional information such as allergens, ingredients and nutritional facts can be inserted into the label. It is possible to create personal categories for the food to quickly organize the inventory.

The software helps users meet the safety standards set by the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points system. It ensures that the food is labeled correctly and consistently to reduce the risk of cross contamination, spoilage or diseases.

There are flexible capabilities for monitoring the inventory and sales. You are able to generate detailed reports on product usage, shelf life and waste reduction.

Please note that Prep Pal is obsolete and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.

About the printer

Prep Pal devices allow users to produce easy to read and remove labels that leave no residue on kitchen equipment. The printing speed varies from 60 to 117 items per minute depending on the model.
