PPF O Matic is a Windows program for integrating PPF items into the ISO game disc images for the Sony PlayStation console. The main interface is simple and straightforward.

Main purpose

PPF files are released by the game developer to resolve firmware issues and other technical errors. Moreover, the patch can include gameplay enhancements and bugfixes. An NFO document containing detailed information about package contents is provided with every PPF item.

It is worth mentioning that this utility does not contain instruments for installing PlayStation games on an external hard drive. There are other solutions like WinHiip that provide this functionality.

How to apply patches

The first step is to load the ISO image by clicking the corresponding icon in the main window and navigating to the required file. You can specify the path to the PPF patch the same way.

After importing both items and reviewing all additional attributes users are able to click the Apply button for performing a merging operation. The pop up window with a confirmation message will appear when the process is complete and the ISO image is ready to be burned to the blank optical disc.
