PowerCinema is an intuitive multimedia program for Windows that allows users to watch movies, listen to music, view photographs and much more.

Interface design

The first thing you will notice after launching the application is its streamlined layout. The interface is split into two media sections, namely Entertainment and My Memories. You are able to use the mouse or the keyboard to switch between them.

The other features include settings, updates and help. It is necessary to point out that these are one of the tool’s weaker aspects due to the lack of in-depth configuration options and informative, but difficult to navigate guide section.

Functionality

You can easily locate the desired multimedia files and access them via the aforementioned tabs. Similar to Media Go, it is possible to toggle the fullscreen mode for viewing movies and images. The utility also comes with a basic graphics editor for making small changes to photographs. In addition, it supports live television and radio, if you have the necessary hardware components.

Remote control

One of the advantages of this application is that within most sections you can find colored buttons that correspond to the regular TV remote controls. This means, you have the ability to connect your computer to a widescreen television set and enjoy the media experience from your couch.
