Portraiture is a Windows application that installs a plugin for Adobe Photoshop. It allows you to improve the skin tones and hide small face imperfections. Additional tools for tuning the sharpness and contrast are provided.

Main purpose

With the help of this powerful utility users can quickly edit portraits by masking the defects on a face and adjusting the color settings. Normal, medium and strong presets are available for the automatic image smoothing. Alternatively, users are able to manually tune the sliders for the small and large details as well as the threshold value for the process.

All changes are displayed in the preview window. There is a split-screen option for comparing the original and processed photo.

Additional enhancements

It is possible to increase the overall image sharpness. The color temperature slider is provided as well. Moreover, the brightness and contrast can be corrected.

You are able to save all settings as a custom preset and apply them later to other similar files for quick batch processing of multiple images.

It is worth mentioning that Portraiture is a paid software. The free trial version does not allow users to save the final image.
