Polaris Digital Wrench
Polaris Digital Wrench is a workshop service and diagnostic Windows program intended for engine control systems and associated components. It provides testing capabilities for all fuel injected Polaris vehicles spanning from the model year 1999 to the present. To tune engines of racing cars, you may try a tool called AEMTuner.
GUI overview
The central hub of the software is the Main Control Panel. Here you can access the majority of functions either by clicking on the icons with your mouse or using the corresponding function keys on your keyboard. It is worth mentioning that the program is not distributed online.
The Communications Status Display is situated in the lower left section of the main window. This area is dedicated to showing all messages related to communications with the vehicle engine control module. It is possible to view if the connection has been established, cable is not attached properly, etc.
Diagnostic methodology
The application was specifically developed to aid technicians in swiftly and accurately resolving vehicle issues. To do so it employs the ASSERT and Satisfy troubleshooting methodology to facilitate the diagnosis of both EFI and non EFI systems.
Once a vehicle has been selected, a special form will become available by selecting one of the icons shown at the top of the main screen. Each step is represented through a button where the information relevant to that portion of the process can be entered.
