Pokemon Radical Red is a program for Windows that allows you to modify the Pokemon Fire Red ROM file. The story will be the same, but it introduces several new gameplay mechanics, stat changes and legendary pokemons. For example, you have the ability to choose the difficulty level.

This is not just a simple ROM hack, it is mainly aimed at users who want to take on different challenges. This application enables them to randomize various aspects at the start of the game. It is not recommended for all types of users, since the difficulty increases dramatically, however those who have finished the game already, may find the new experience refreshing. Please note, in order to run the game, you need to use an emulator software like Visual Boy Advance.

Gameplay changes

We mentioned the randomizer option available when creating a new game save. If you choose it, it would not be possible to change any settings unless you make another playthrough. The game also includes changes and additions in regards to pokemon abilities. For example, you can swap them or train them even more. It is necessary to mention that this project is constantly updated, so more features are expected in the future releases.
