PODIUM Sharp is a program for Windows designed by Mateusz Machalski to enable you to use a sans font family. This typeface comes with two hundred and thirty four styles, from ultra compressed hairline to extra expanded heavy.

Font description

The main objective of this project is to merge various modular and geometric wood types found in vintage Polish specimens like Baccarat, Blok, Rex, etc. With its wide array of diverse styles, this font is a convenient choice for visual branding, posters, and marketing display stands.

To enhance the ease of using the typeface, a new concept of naming has been developed. It employs two digits, the first indicating width and the second denoting weight. For example, 1.1 represents ultra compressed hairline, 6.5 resembles a regular style, and 9.13 is ultra expanded heavy font.

Installation

The font is provided in the OpenType file format, including tabular data essential for text rendering. This information is used by applications to arrange the layout. To design fonts, you may try a program called FontCreator.

To install the typeface, you need to open the directory containing the corresponding OTF file. The next step is to launch the Control Panel and double click the Fonts folder. Now you can simply drag and drop the font to the aforementioned location.
